We fished along Tenmile Beach again today, as far south as Pt. Reyes.
The bite was slow all morning and I made many short drifts, boxing a few each time. I metered very few fish on the spots we've been fishing over the last couple weeks.
Fortunately, we had great group of anglers today. Their patience and positive attitude allowed them to take advantage of the slightly improved bite in the afternoon. We ended up with 45 rockfish, mostly blacks & browns, and 2 lingcod
The McBeth Construction Co.(Santa Rosa) charter:
Robert Lucas, Bill Bariolo, Brion Cupps, George McBeth, and Ray Molino

Brion took the only fish on the first drift, a nice vermillion rockfish, on a swimbait.

Bob caught this one...

Ray took this one...

and Bill took this lingcod, at the end of the day, on baited flies.

These are the good ol' days
