Well, our first salmon trip of the year was cut short by the northwest wind that has kept us in port since opening day. The morning was nice enough and we trolled from 8 to 14 nm west of the harbor before running back down to pull our traps for limits of dungeness crabs.
Tomorrows forcast is much better and we'll be looking south of the harbor, covering new ground in our search for the elusive king of the salmon.
These are the good ol' days
